NBA Playoff Predictor 2027

Updated

This free NBA playoff predictor and bracket simulator lets you pick your 2027 bracket: choose the winner of every best-of-seven series from the First Round to the NBA Finals and the bracket fills in like the real one, with no reseeding. Seeds 7 and 8 follow the standings until the Play-In is played. Picks save in your browser and you can share your bracket with a link; once the playoffs start, each pick is marked right or wrong.

The field is projected from today’s standings; matchups update as results come in, and your picks are kept in this browser. Tap a team to advance it. The bracket is fixed: the 4/5 winner meets the No. 1 seed and the 3/6 winner the No. 2 seed.

How the Bracket Simulator Works

1. Pick the First Round

Tap a team in each matchup (1 v 8, 4 v 5, 3 v 6, 2 v 7 in both conferences). Seeds 7 and 8 follow the standings until the Play-In is played, then the real Play-In winners.

2. Follow the fixed bracket

The conference semifinals fill in like the real NBA bracket: the 1/8 winner meets the 4/5 winner and the 2/7 winner meets the 3/6 winner. No reseeding.

3. Pick to the NBA title

Choose the two conference champions and your NBA Finals winner. Changing an earlier pick clears the rounds after it.

4. Share it

Copy the link and your whole bracket travels with it. Picks are also saved in your browser, so you can come back and edit.

NBA playoff predictor FAQ

How does the NBA playoff predictor work?

Pick a winner for each series and the next round fills in automatically, following the real fixed bracket: the 1/8 winner meets the 4/5 winner and the 2/7 winner meets the 3/6 winner.

Who are seeds 7 and 8 in the predictor?

Until the Play-In is played they follow the standings (the current 7th and 8th); after it they are the real Play-In winners.

Can I share my NBA bracket?

Yes. Your picks are saved in this browser and the share button copies a link that opens your exact bracket.

Does the NBA reseed the playoffs?

No. The bracket is fixed: in each conference the 1/8 winner plays the 4/5 winner and the 2/7 winner plays the 3/6 winner, whatever the upsets.

When are the 2027 NBA Finals?

In June 3, 2027, on ABC. The league confirms the exact dates closer to the playoffs.
