How the 2026 CFL Playoffs Work

Six of nine teams qualify: the top three in the West and East Divisions by points (two for a win, one for a tie). The first-place team in each division gets a bye to the Division Final and hosts it; the second-place team hosts the third-place team in the Division Semi-Final. The crossover rule lets a fourth-place team with more points than the other division’s third-place team take that spot. The East and West champions meet in the 113th Grey Cup at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on November 15. This is the last season of the six-team format; 2027 brings an eight-team playoff. How to Watch the 2026 CFL Playoffs

In Canada every playoff game is on TSN (English) and RDS (French), with the Grey Cup also on CTV; streaming on TSN+ and Crave. In the United States, CBS Sports Network carries select games and CFL+ streams the rest. Semi-Finals are Saturday, October 31 (3 PM and 6:30 PM ET), Division Finals Saturday, November 7 (same times), and the Grey Cup Sunday, November 15 at 6 PM ET.
